Keith is a backend engineer turned executive with deep experience in distributed systems and real-time analytics. As a founding engineer at Parse.ly, he built the earliest systems as well as the team that scaled the company. Keith was promoted to CTO in 2020 and helped steer the company through a successful acquisition by Automattic in 2021.

Parse.ly was one of the earliest fully distributed engineering teams and Keith is passionate about distributed work. He is also an avid learner, currentaly tackling Rust and writing about it here.
